Which audio format should I choose?

The best format depends on how you plan to use the file:

• MP3 320kbps: The most popular choice. Maximum MP3 quality with wide compatibility across cars, TVs, and older devices.
• M4A (AAC): Better efficiency than MP3, offering high quality with smaller file size. Ideal for mobile listening.
• FLAC: Lossless audio with no quality loss. Perfect for archiving and audiophiles.
• WAV: Uncompressed audio. Very large files, best for professional editing or studio use.

Is MP3 320kbps better than regular MP3?

Yes. MP3 320kbps is the highest MP3 bitrate available. It delivers clearer sound, better detail, and fewer compression artifacts, especially noticeable when using good headphones or speakers. The trade-off is a larger file size.

Is M4A (AAC) better than MP3?

In many cases, yes. AAC is a more modern codec than MP3, which means it can deliver better audio quality at the same or even lower bitrate. M4A is widely supported on modern devices, especially smartphones.

What is the difference between FLAC and WAV?

Both FLAC and WAV are lossless formats:

• FLAC compresses audio without losing quality, resulting in smaller files.
• WAV is completely uncompressed, producing very large files.

If you want lossless quality with reasonable file size, FLAC is usually the better choice.

How do I download audio on iPhone or iPad?

I clicked Convert but nothing happens. What should I do?

Common reasons include:

Why can't I download 4K video with sound?

Many YouTube 4K videos are provided as video-only streams, with audio delivered separately. If the source does not allow audio merging, 4K with sound may not be available.

Do you store my files or personal data?

No. YTMP3 does not require user accounts and does not permanently store converted files. Temporary processing data is automatically deleted shortly after the conversion is completed.

Can I download only part of a video?

Currently, partial downloads are not supported. You'll need to download the full audio file and trim it locally using your preferred audio editor.

Can I convert an entire YouTube playlist?

Playlist batch downloads are not supported at the moment. For best performance and stability, please convert videos one by one.

Why do I see CAPTCHA or download limits?

High-frequency requests from the same IP address may trigger protection systems. Slow down, close extra tabs, and try again after some time.

Is it legal to download audio from YouTube?

You should only download content that:

• You own, or
• You have explicit permission to use
